Prejudice

When we pass to one another prejudice by thoughts, words and actions, we allow hate in our world. We choose to change our views depending on circumstances that do not accommodate our immediate needs. What pleases us for the moment lasts an eternity to the person who lives with the reality of hatred.

When we forgive and understand first ,it is only when we will be forgiven and understood. I need a daily reminder, sometimes a minute to minute reminder to focus on the good and act accordingly. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge or understanding. Its up to us to teach, by the way we live our lives, interact with others, with kindness and respect.

We have all had our share of burdens and hardships, heartaches, lets not make it any harder on ourselves. We have got to move forward and open our minds soon.

  1. Amen. With everything that has been happening over the last year your sentiments are what we need. Many of the happenings disturb me and I do believe that there is blame and responsibility to be had, but I don’t think many of the people involved are enlightened enough to have those conversations and come up with solutions. So, I think we all need to learn to look at each other as human beings first. Forget about the other stuff because we cannot handle it. Think of everyone as the same as you, having similar (but not always the same) experiences as you do and love them anyway.

  2. Thank you for replying. I know, change that we will learn from, is coming, I just hope its positive change so there won’t be needless suffering, physically and psychologically. The world could use a reprieve and a good showering of love right now.
